The beds were very comfortable; the room was clean and the hot breakfast was plentiful

The room was clean. Unfortunately, the temperature control unit wasn't functioning properly. We didn't request a different room as we should have, however. Overall I have this 4 stars because everything else was great.
The night clerk was so VERY helpful, since I made 2 mistakes booking. He never made me feel bad.
An excellent hotel at a very reasonable price. And truly pet friendly, with a $10 fee per night for our dog. A very nice change from other chains that claim to be pet friendly but want a $100 non-refundable deposit (Marriott).
Having taken so much longer on the Blue Ridge Parkway, we needed an overnight.
I had to get a late check out and I am a choice diamond member and Travis was an awesome help, thank you Travis. rooms are very clean, and staff is awesome in my book. thank you so much for a great experience wit u and my family having a great weekend.
