When I first went to WRC, I felt worthless, ashamed, and hopeless. I expected to be treated like I felt. Instead, the staff was (and is ) incredibly friendly. They always treat me with respect and dignity. They made me feel like a human again! A real human - a functioning part of society with a real soul and real feelings! And for that, I cannot begin to express my immense gratitude! They gave me hope. They made me realize I am not alone. The meetings are always very helpful and (usually) very enjoyable as well. Dr. Lewis is extremely kind and compassionate. I am an extremely anxious person and find it difficult to talk to and interact with others, but Dr. Lewis makes it so easy to open up and I almost can't help but share my thoughts and feelings with her! Sometimes I have to remind myself that she has other patients to see besides myself! I trust her. And I feel that she can relate to me. I feel like she knows me and cares about me personally. And for that, I just want to say a big, fat, THANK YOU!!!!! Thank you to EVERYONE at WRC - you are TRULY a life saver!!!
Addicts go here for help and all you people do is take money and enable. You rarely and I mean rarely cut back the dose. The person has needle marks everywhere where they shoot the stuff up which is a BIG NO NO! You were told about this over a year ago and all you did was tell them about a call. You never checked. Their veins are blown everywhere. You think? That is why even in the summer they wear long sleeves and sweat their brains out. Here it is winter, check their ankles etc, no veins hardly left. Plus they sell part of it!!! *** THIS IS NOT my family member but SOMEONE I happen to know. Drs, you would think you are smarter than that!
Says meds will be covered by insurance on the phone when in reality you pay them they prescribe and boom its not covered. So check check double check so you don't waste you money like I did. This have hope for a minute but now I'm worse off.
What a joke. Dr K is rude. Took a family member and was treated with disrespect and made to feel like a junkie. Doesnt deserve a star at all. He said he wasnt a discount drug dealer. People like that make addicts trying to get better go back to the streets. This is not ok!
Great place to go if you really want to get clean.
