(not knowing this!) and was finally diagnosed by the VA, and then referred to Dr Wiles for surgery.... all discomfort and pain had subsided within a day or 2. For the time and duration that he had been in pain, this was nothing short of miraculous!
Dr. Wiles did a spinale fusion on me in December 2015. I now have no back or leg pain! I feel great!! However, I did have to wait two months for my appointment but, it was worth it. I highly recommend Dr. Wiles.
Dr. Wiles was my Christmas miracle. I was in extreme pain and no pain medication worked. I could only lay in the fetal position, could not walk, sit, or move. I came to the ER just before Christmas weekend. I was scheduled for a laminectomy after the first of the year because my orthopedic surgeon was on vacation. Dr. Kominek and Dr. Wiles were recommended and their PA came right away, then Dr. Kominek and Dr. Wiles got me worked in surgery right away. The surgery dept. was closed for the Christmas weekend except for life threatening situations. I was their last surgery. He did a posterior depression and discectomy. This is now the next day. I'm pain free and probably be home by Christmas. Because of the doctors at the East TN Brain and Spine Center, I have been blessed with the best Christmas present I have ever had.
