People there are generally very nice they just keep changing providers. You never get a chance to feel comfortable with one person, I was very sad to see my case manager leave he was amazing.

they make me feel comfortable there. very professional, very helpful and made me feel a lot better when I was going through a hard time in my life. also have a great program for people who have no insurance or income to receive services.
Have been going to Watauga Heath for a couple of years and have recently found that Rebecca is not really helping me with my problems. Recently had a small dog taken away from me when I found out that she had been stolen from the owner. I am having a hard time dealing with it because I had too return the animal to the owner. At the same time my marriage is falling apart after a year, due to problems we have had in the past. Yes, I am in a same sex marriage and people are giving us a hard time and I am being told not to continue in this relationship.
Most of the staff have been professional and friendly. They do seem to have a high turnover rate for staff so sometimes you get bounced around a bit. Just remember that, even though they may be great at their job, not every therapist or case manager will be a perfect fit for you. Sometimes you have to ask for someone better suited to your needs. It took a little while but I have a wonderful team now and I'm very happy with them. There is a pharmacy on site, which is convenient for picking up meds or they will mail them to you. I don't drive so I have my meds mailed and my case manager comes to my house. My case manager is very knowledgeable and has helped me find some much needed resources. My therapist is very professional and understanding. I would recommend Watauga to anyone looking for the types of services they provide.
These people are very difficult to deal with. I would advise paying the extra money and seeing a good doctor. This is a state funded facility
