They started out pretty good, although I had to repeatedly tell them taking my terminally ill cat to Knoxville wasn't a viable option before they would give me options to making her final days more comfortable. They treated her for over a month when she finally passed. I appreciated that they helped me care for her remains, and I was told that they would send me her paw print. However, I'm disappointed that about 10 days later I recieved a "Welcome to our Clinic" card in the mail with a coupon for a canine nail trim instead!! I don't have a dog and found that to be very insensitive and distasteful. I won't be taking my other two cats, nor any future pets there.
I've never used a veterinary hospital in the past where the employees were as genuinely caring and as professional as they are at Young's. To care for pets properly it definitely can be expensive. Choices have to be made based on finances and compassion for the animals. Probably to make costs lower, more clients would have to be served, but then the increased work load would mean quality (and the pets) would suffer. Regardless, the people at Young's do an excellent job and have a special place in my heart. Love and prayers for them.
We've been bringing our pets here for a long time. They're always friendly and professional and show great consideration for our pets. Everything is done to reduce stress on the animals and make their visit as comfortable as possible. Great staff!
Overall the best place I could of chosen for my 15 yr old puppy. she was in good hands at Youngs. Her meds were adjusted accordingly and she is doing wonderful now. Thanks so much for the kindness and the knowledge you provided me.
