I did not realize that Perkins is a 24hr restaurant!!! BONUS points for that!!
This is a good after hours place, I usually come here late when other places are closed. Comfortable dining area; food is decent; desserts are always delicious! The pies are exceptional! Bathrooms are sometimes clean & well stocked, sometimes not; restaurant itself is usually very clean. Some servers are great: refilling drinks and checking on your table often and with a smile, other servers not so much. Lots of parking available, only two or three handicapped parking areas close to the door.
This is our "go to" place for breakfast. Breakfast anytime 24/7.

Perkins is usually a great place to eat, friendly staff, food cooked to order...this evening was good in some areas, but steak ordered "medium" and was cooked "medium well- well"...salad was delivered with tooo much dressing and potato(baked) loaded with butter...My suggestion was that any salad be brought with the dressing on the side and the baked potato be brought with butter on the side...I do not presume to salt or pepper anyone else's food, nor do I expect anyone else to butter or dressing my food...let the patron do these tasks to their own satisfaction...
Perkins has ALWAYS been a special treasure to us! The food is awesome no matter which one you go to~~~ Johnson City TN to Orlando Fla! The service has always been great but our wait person at the Johnson City location about midnight (after the race in Bristol) was exceptional!!
Consistently good food and service.
We've tried their lunch and dinner meals which are OK but breakfast items are their best.
