I am writing this response to the 2 reviews under this one. If for some reason you are not happy with my flowers PLEASE contact our shop! Neither one of them contacted us to tell us about these issues. We DO NOT send out dead flowers or half-assed bouquets. I have been in business for 40 years this year and am VERY proud of my flowers and arrangements! Why in heavens name would I send out flowers that were almost dead? DUH As for the gentleman that said everything was wrong with his order....I took your order. I wrote down EXACTLY what you told me to. Your name was what you told me to put , PLUS YOU gave us the wrong name of the place to be delivered! My delivery guy and many problems trying to get them to her. As for them being there at 1:30 yes they got there then only because we were waiting on our truck to get there with fresh roses! PLEASE if you have a problem contact us so we can do something to make you happy and not come on here and trash us! We work hard to make people happy not to come on here and see these reviews!!
I received a bouquet of flowers from my cousins while in the hospital. They came from Roddy's Flowers and were beautiful. Roddy, Wayland and their employees are the finest creators of flowers I have ever saw. Thank you Roddy and my dearest cousins
With the passing of my Mother, I tried to share with Roddy what her favorite colors were, I brought pictures of her as well... he asked me just a few questions about the style of casket spray I might like and then told me not to worry, he knew exactly what to do. Over the weekend I worried that the spray may not match her clothing. I took several outfits to the funeral home just in case.. The time came that I had to choose what she wore, and the flowers weren't there yet.. And just like he said, I shouldn't have worried. The flowers paired with every color in her pretty little suit jacket. It was as if he'd had the jacket with him the whole time.. I was thrilled. The spray and coordinating baskets were absolutely beautiful and they brightened the entire room. I am so grateful to Roddy for his intuition and wonderful God given abilities. I thought it would be best to purchase flowers from a local florist, since I'm currently living a few hours away from my girlfriend. So, I purchased a set of flowers totaling around $80, which included the delivery fee and a deluxe bouquet of flowers, to surprise my girlfriend from the website online. I assumed that purchasing a bouquet of flowers at this price would have been delivered with the highest quality flowers. To my utmost disappointment, some of the lilies appeared to be on the verge of dying. Luckily, my girlfriend loved the roses, but she sent me a picture of the bouquet and said some of the lilies appeared to be dying on the same day she received the flowers. Basically, I'd recommend calling the florist prior and ensuring that the flowers for your purchase are FRESH, or you'd make the same mistake I did and purchase a half-ass bouquet. I'll be sure to purchase bouquets from another local florist that can meet my expectations in the future.
We absolutely loved our interactions with Roddy's flowers. We went in early Friday morning in a rush and needing everything by noon the next day. Roddy was very polite, professional, and such a support for us during our time of grief. I have definitely recommended him to everyone. Roddy you are awesome and we will all be forever grateful.
