I called on October 18th to share my concern & the lady seemed to care. She asked for our phone number but no one called.
These folks got paid by the bank. I know it's always AS IS but now my son is stuck with a repair loan in addition to the car loan... *Car repaired. Brought home. Put new tires on. (That was $629.00) Checked oil. Hardly any on dipstick. Oil all over back of engine. Had car towed back to Kingsport.
New update as of 10-31-17. The oil filter housing was cracked. That will add another $487.00 to the bill... With tires, that is over $3800.00 in repairs so far...
My son purchased a 2006 Mini Cooper S a few months back via a bank loan. Fast forward to October 2017. This thing should have been yellow. A true lemon. It's at a repair shop with the repair bill surpassing $2700+. It had leaks every wear and former repairs were done badly.
Have bought several cars over the years.. always have been helpful and willing to work with you...
The guy wasn't very knowledgeable but he was nice. The van we went to look at was sitting on the lot with both front seats gone. The salesman's explanation was "huh, they must have them out cleaning them huh huh." So we drove all that way and wasn't able to check out the vehicle we went to see.
Friendly, knowledgeable and competent. I was traveling through town and my oil maintenance light came on. I dropped my car off, they worked it in and in no time had the oil changed and all the fluids checked. I was able to continue my trip with confidence with a reasonable wait time. I would higly recommend Buchanan's Auto for your auto maintenance needs.
I just have to rave over how amazing this business is! David was so helpful, friendly, humble and honest. Just a great guy. Helped me to purchase a mini van off of his lot. We drove 3 hours from NC to get it. He communicated with me through phone and email and helped me arrange the whole thing. Took the van to the Toyota dealership to have it inspected and not one issue was found. Great vehicle at an amazing value and by far the easiest, quickest and smoothest car buying experience I've EVER had. Next time we need a vehicle I will be reaching out to them FIRST. I highly recommend them!
Buyer beware when purchasing this type of vehicle without having a mechanic check it out.
