I have eaten here many times since it opened quite a few years ago. I love that they serve a black bean dip, in place of the usual salsa, with chips. They do have a salsa bar that my sons love, I'm just not a salsa eater.
Fresh take on Mexican. Great food and great service. This is not the same old recipes found at other places. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
I almost always get the Classic Tacos with black beans & re- fried beans as sides and a margarita (or 2). The tacos (w/chips, bean dip & queso) are enough for dinner, so I make a second meal of bean nachos from the leftover sides. I have never been disappointed with the food or drinks. They taste good & are a good value.
Overall, this is one of my (family's) favorite places to eat.
A couple who were seated after we were got their meals long before we did and when our food arrived it was just warm. Don't feel like going back.

Great food. More of an upscale Mexican restaurant than a the typical Amigos style places. That’s the reason I only gave them 5 stars, because I don’t think it’s a great value for what you pay. I’ll still go back, but it’s a bit pricey unless you’re just looking for a fancy step up from the typical place. I had the shrimp and bacon tacos, and they were very good! I also tried the table side guacamole. It was good. Basically the same that you find at any place that does table side guacamole (and I felt it was too expensive). All in all, you should give it a try, just be prepared to pay more than the typical Mexican restaurant.
The service, almost always, impresses. I only remember 1 negative experience. There have probably been a few times that it was average - didn't stand out as really good or bad. More often than not, I am actually impressed enough to remember my server's name.
