Big place to storage your things safe security
I had a move about 4 weeks ago and by far this was the worst move we have ever had in the past 15 years and many companies who have moved us .i will never recommend tbis company to move a car not less our bousehold goods it was the worst move of my life things got broken and stolen i would never recommend any one to use Roy's they act like they will treat you like family and burn you the chance they can have a bunch of non professionals our ther e they are not worth the hassle. And damn sure not worth t the money i paid them .
Long and short, save yourself time, money and a load of frustration. Go elsewhere.
I had a lot of box's and as time pass i need some tool some small power the boxes were among the I can't find them looks like they had some help walking away
I have used Roy's 2 times in the past and it was a great experience. However, they have now changed ownership. They showed up three hours late. I only found out this would be the case after calling the office when they had not arrived on time. They had rented a U-Haul van because they were overbooked (which is much smaller than their typical van) and sent only 2 men. I had requested 3.
It took them 10 hours and three trips to move the contents and patio furniture. I'm talking a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath townhouse (1200 sq. feet) and some items in storage (100 sq. feet). They were still unloading after 12 a.m. They tried to charge me for all of this time and manpower (they sent another truck and 2 more men). I refused to pay because It was more than double my last move. I realized I had a few more things but this price was ridiculous! They lowered the price but not sufficiently. When I disputed again, they informed me if I didn't pay they would call the police. Wow! I'm getting robbed and they are the victim?
Just flat out awful
Upon unpacking a few items that were damaged. One bookcase was so scratched it looked like they had scooted it on it's side in the truck, without a furniture pad. I visited the owner, Ronnie with photos of the damage. He assured me he would come to my house the following weekend to assess the damage and discuss the charges....he never did.
