I've been coming to Lowe's for years and used to love it so much I'd stick up for it in a Home Depot argument. But after my experience today simply trying to exchange a door lock system for a customer I'm switching to Home Depot. I tried simply getting her to hold defective unit and I'd bring new one. Instead she refunded to Gift Card. When I brought the new one up they wouldn't let me have it because I didn't have the right card. I drove all the way to get her cards and when I get back to Lowe's and try to get it again they then say she has to be with me. I've never been treated so horribly in my life. Great selection. Good pricing. Workers could use a little more knowledge in their inventory but they are very helpful and nice to you.
Lowe's has always been my choice when it comes to purchasing supplies on projects large or small. They are trained and ready to answer all my concerns. Their prices are as good or better than the local competition and if not they will match or beat other store prices.
We have been pleasantly surprised by everyone working at the Johnson City Lowe's. People are helpful and go out of their way to make sure we have been taken care of. At other stores it feels like you have to hunt someone down just to get a simple answer. I would be willing to go out of my way to shop here knowing that I will get superior service.
What R v's they had were nice but we were looking for toyhaulers and they only had one to choice from. No one e even come down from the office to talk to us. There were several other people there but not a sales person to be seen.
